I know opinions will vary but I just want thoughts on this set-up a yes or a no will do :)

--Vulcan Big Line Kit

I just took off the vulcan big line kit and holley blue, pm me if you want the kit, replaces all the way to the injection pump. I went to an Airdog. No experince with the black, but I don't think there set up for running diesel.

I tried a Black for about a week, switched over to a FASS. The Black would pulse so I couldn't get a consistent fuel pressure. There was a couple times the Black would not even start up, had to give it a smack to get it going.

I replaced the third Holley on my truck about a month ago, I would not use one again if starting from scratch.

The vulcan big line kit will allow the stock pump (carter 4601hp) to provide enough fuel pressure for 12+ psi at 500 hp. 1st pump lasted 10 months, I took the second off later when I went mechanical.

Pump, harness extension, bracket,... are collecting dust in the garage if you need anything.

airdog 100 here and i love it. setup was kinda tricky at first but not to bad i would say its a good kit in all.

this tread is kinda old but I thought I would ask a quick question, I recently installed the Edge Juice with Attitude and my idling pressure is about 12-14 idling and it can drop down real quick if I take off fast but cruising speed is about 9-10. I ordered a Geno's lift pump relocation kit from tank to fuel filter with 3/8s line. My lift pump is only bout 6 months old, I was wondering does anyone think that the lift pump should keep better pressure after I relocate it. I am gonna replace the line between the filter and injection pump eventually. Also does anyone have any recommendations on some other pumps I can use instead on the lift pump. I have no big performance upgrades in the future but I need something that I can trust not to drop my pressure that far.

the stock lift pumps are kinda weak and i dont think relocating it will help they just dont put enough pressure out i got a 95gph fass lift pump and it comes with all new lines and it works great if i hit 12 psi i change the filter but normally it stays at about 16-18psi all the time

well I'm gonna do it tomorrow, hen see the difference, then might put a holly blue on it and maybe get a good one that will last awhile

Run it. Got a buddy that's been running a black for going on 6 years and all he's done is replace the seal on the base on it.

ya, also the rebuild kits are pretty cheap so if you need to, I'm just see how the lift pump works out for now, I just kinda baby it, I don't let it hit 7 psi

well I put a Geno's relocation kit with a holley blue on it, had to get new fitting for the holley blue for the fuel line, before it would idle 12-14 and now it idles 12-15, at 3-1, taking off slow, the psi would go down to 7-8 and now at 4-4, the psi goes down to 8 with more then half throttle, so in other words, I'm really happy with that kit, I'm just gonna fix a loop in the line before the pump I had to do cause of the placement of the pump and I need to replace the line between filter and injection pump

big line and factory lift pump, it works. 13-14 idle and no lower than 10 at wot. if you are goin on a budget its the way to go IMO, but what do I know

if I upgrade the line between the filter and injection pump, it should raise it up some but I just wanted to fix the pressure drop before

Raptor 150 and Big Line Kit from Glacier diesel its great for me.

Sand the bypass plunger and the barrel it rides in with some emory paper. Sand the bypass plunger down until there's no more paint on it. It'll help with the pressure some.
