need some help

i just put a bully dog 6 postion chip on and today pulling my work tralier up a hill in the 50hp. it seemed to have a surge or lose of power near the top. there is a swoosh noise that i guess is the turbo. if anybody could help. how to fix it.:bang

it's a 2000 7.3 with a manual tranny, KN intake,bully dog 6 postion chip, straight pipe. 104,000miles

could be turbo surge?

how much boost are you running? how steep of a hill? How fast? What gear (rpm)? how heavy of a trailer?

i'm not sure on the boost, it was a pretty steep and long hill, i was running about 70 in 6th gear and the trailer is a 6 x 10 utility trailer full of tools, i don't know the weight of it. shouldn't be that much weight. i've looked up turbo surge and it seems like the same symptoms. how big of a fix is that?
