Anyone know what the nozzle config is on the DDP 90hp injector? Is it a micro blind 5 hole like the 75hp one?
Seems like I got good power with less smoke, especially idle smoke, when I ran the 75hp ones.
Since going to a sac type with a larger dead space under the needle theres lots more smoke. Could be that Im totally off-track and its just the extra fueling in general, not the dead space under the needle.
Is there any way to crank up the injection pressures with the P7100 pumps? Ive messed with the pop-off pressure and thats given me great response at the expense of top end power. Going to stick with 260-275bar for now. Would be nice to be able to inject at higher pressures, not just set pop pressure.
Also have had bad experiences with custom injectors with used bodies and intermediate discs. Has anyone investigated machining o-ring grooves into the body and nozzle? Or does just having a machine shop true the mating surfaces improve the seal enough?
