need some turbo advice.

ok. my trucks been down for awhile now.. its starting to snow and my DD is a piece of **** cavalier... i want my truck and need it for the winter.. i was going to buy a he351cw and turn my pump way down and run it as a single untill i can get this 80mm garrett i have rebuilt and get some plumbing for twins...but i found a great deal on an he351ve. ive read the thread bout the guy that put one on his 24v.. how difficult would this be to get to work on my 12v. i hate wiring and not real good at it and not real sure where i could get a motor like he used to work the vanes.. any input would be great.

the electric part is only for the ebrake and could be done with air or a cable or whatever.:Cheer:

ooo ok gotcha. so i could use a cable to work the vanes.. and the waste gate head for the waste gate... just hafta drill and tap the compressor housing for a boost elbow to work the waste gate head.

On a HE351VE the vanes & wg are the same thing. the vanes start with a small opening and either get bigger to lower boost or shut for the brake.$.02

ok gotcha.. then why does he have the electric motor and a waste gate on the one on the 24v?

Watch the video and other related ones. The WG moves the vanes through normal range and the electric motor closes them for the brake.
