Just heard back from the machine shop that my head is junk.

So I'm looking for a replacement thats in good shape.

I have a head from floor it thats had alot of work done to it don't know if you would be interested or not???? Let me know man!!! I will pm you my number and of hard to get ahold of during the day though.

How'd you end up with it? And why does your name sound familiar? Have we met somewhere in the Mid-Missouri area?
 
If my heads not damaged, I'll be swaping mine over to the stock motor i'm purchasing and I'll have a stock one for sale......Gonna be a week before I get it though...

I'd love to find a new casting somewhere... Another guy dropped me a PM on here about one... But I gotta wait till tomorrow to call them.

David I think I talked to you on the other forum about needing a 05 common rail head. If you find some please let me know. Im on the look out as well.
 
Yep... On CF... I should have some news for you tomorrow.

I've gotten alot of great leads on stuff from alot of people both here and on CF.

Gotta make some phone calls though.

I'm tryin' like heck to find a NEW casting... but if I have to I'll go with used. Either way it'll have to head to the machine shop.

My motor came in today...Gotta get it picked up and delivered to Jeff's...

Friday is my GF's Bday and I need to spend time with her this weekend, so I won't get a chance to start my swap until Monday or Tues....

I'll keep ya posted..
 
If you want to spend the money, Contact Snedge on here. He can get you a brand new casting from Cummins.
