NEPA Springtime Meet n’ Greet.

Ok everyone seeing how spring has officially sprung here in the Northeast part of the U.S. we thought (that now would be as good of a time as ever to ADD a spring time meet n’ greet up here in beautiful N.E.P.A. to our: frigid temperature, in the middle of winter with 5” of snow on the ground event. (Sorry Tony I just had to) :-laf .

We haven’t officially picked a date yet but seeing how Spring Fling is May 17th & 18th (plug for Hammer), I was hoping to stick a date in between now and then the we could all get together and shoot the proverbial crap and have lunch and whatnot.

So there are a few dates between now and then so im going to try to add a poll to this thread and see what works best for everyone. It is most likely going to be on a Sunday unless the majority wants to change it to a Saturday :{ :{.

If enough of you want to change it to a Saturday let me know

Im going to say that the time is to be determined prob. between 12 & 2 and the location will be the Petro Truck Stops - Location Information - Iron Skillet, Petro:Lube, Travel Stores, Mobil Delvac, Truck Tires, PM Services, Diesel, CAT Scales, Blue Beacon Truck Washes as it has been for the past few events we have had. Lots of parking and good food for everyone. I will make a phone call to the manager down there and we can get the back room all to ourselves.

The two things that I ask of everyone is one, try to bring a friend to see what this sickness is all about. And two treat the property at the Petro with respect.

So we hope to see you all there.

Ok, I have this on a few other websites and im going to take the date for the majority and decide from there

Sounds good Rob, a good chance for you to blow the dust off the Dak!

Between the weather and working that day.. I'm overdue for a trip up there since i missed out on the January meet.

Their is no dust on the Dakota i visit it weekly and keep her clean. im just kiddin it is dirty

I have my Daughter on Sundays but willl try and make it up there for one of any of the dates.........Andy

Official Date and location

Ok everyone, here it is:

1st annual NEPA Springtime meet n’ Greet is going to be held on Sunday April 20, 2008 and im going to say that the time is to be 12 noon (Obviously we will be there early to shoot the preverbal B.S. and check out each others trucks before then.) and the location will be the Petro Truck Stops http://www.petrotruckstops.com/location_detail.sstg?id=57 as it has been for the past few events we have had. Lots of parking and good food for everyone. I will make a phone call to the manager down there and we can get the back room all to ourselves and we can just order off the menu like we always do.

Im going to try to put together a list so I have a number to give to the Petro so then know how many to expect. So let me know if you’re going to be there even if you are tentative let me know with a yes anyway.

The two things that I ask of everyone is one, try to bring a friend to see what this sickness is all about. And two treat the property at the Petro with respect because not only are we guests of theirs and we want to be welcome back .

So we hope to see you all there.

The 20th wasn't even a date on the poll.... Don't matter to me anyway!.. probably anything but the 27th now..

I've heard Hammer say that truckers and truckstops don't mix..

Either way, see everyone the 20th!!

Just a FYI for everyone I spoke to the manager of the Petro (whos name I cant remember right now) and I reserved the back room for us to use and we will all just order off the menu.

Hey everyone, First off I apologize for not posting earlier but as soon as I got the truck home I had to leave for the hockey game.

Anyway, WOW what a great turnout. I would like to personally thank everyone that turned out, it was defiantly a good tome and got to see a lot of new faces and meet a lot of new people along with all of the diehards like Abby and her human partner TTBIRD. We will defiantly have another one probably again in the fall. Anyway thanks again and we will see you all real soon. Maybe at the spring fling.
