This one have to have the fluid damper modified to work?

Cannot say I don't run a fluid damper nor had it on my motor. Typical use for this piece would be on a puller that is not using any of the accessories mentioned above.

PDW is the builder. Setup to run any P-Pump with an adjustable gear. You have to switch over to a 4 rib belt and machine some pullys down if you are going to street this not a big deal.

Sure would have been nice to have known that when I ordered mine;)

Oh well,

I dont know, you would have to ask:

CORY BRINSER

PERFORMANCE
DIESEL
WAREHOUSE

I paid extra for the 12V oil fill plate and the longer bolts. I am just trying to break even.... I also had to wait like 5 weeks for this thing to be built.

This is what the belt routing would look like:

you have to space the fan drive out aprox 1/8 inch and cut 2 ribs from the fan pully. I installed the scheid cover but looks like its close to the same thickness.

Iam interested in the cover but i want an electric water pum. do you have all parts to make this work? Also dont want to use ac or fan pulley

x2! :bang

Is it possible to mill down the cover to close to the stock thickness on the lower 1/3 of it such that no milling of any other parts (damper, fan hub pulley) is required?

I would already know but my cover hit the oil pump shaft so I need to clearance the backside of the cover slightly to get it on all the way before I can take any measurements...

Got my cover on this weekend w/ a fluidamper. Had to machine 2 grooves off the damper pulley. Also had to space out the fan pulley mount the width of two grooves on the pulley. It appears I will just have to slighly clearance the back of the fan pulley (but keep all grooves on it)... otherwise it looks good. I try to get some pics of it installed on here to help ya with your sale...

What exactly is the point of these? Is this a cover so that you can reach a adjustable pump gear so you can raise or lower timing on the go ?

Yes, if you use an adjustable pump gear, this cover will allow you to change your timing in 10 min...

It would also allow you to change your adj. cam gear (little more involved, but wouldn't have to remove the cover). The cover also has the ability to mount a gear driven fuel pump.
