Folks, if you've been following my 763hp thread , you may be wondering, why am I selling tips? :) There's a good reason for it now.

Originally we were to just EDM out Wicked's tips to the size I needed. in that process we found a defect in my tips from the previous EDM process. The engineer working on the tips did not feel comfortable going further. There for I opted for new stock tips for them to start from.

Keep in mind, not all shane's tips are defective. So no stupid dramma on that front.

I emailed the photos they took with the microscope photo thing to Shane and he is going to make it right. After a full year (almost to date) Shane is swapping these for shinny new ones! YAAAAY SHANE! you rock! Not many folks still around will go that far. So Plug for him!

So, what I'm getting back is 5 x 0.0105" size injector. Not sure what that is HP wise, around 180hp or around 85% over. They are not the exact same size that i'm swapping for.

$600 OBO is a very good deal for new perfect, professional machined tips.

I can arrange for balancing with these tips via Floor-it/MDE if you wish.

The catch is, it will be Early January before Shane gets my old tips and ships me my new ones.

Year, ya know what. If Shane has stock of the same or similar sized 03-04 injector, I wonder if we can working out deal for you injection-event-deprived trucks. But a 5 x is an 04.5-07 injector and should be what I'm getting back.

Power wise, 750hp easily on a small charger (as proven by me) 800 is very possible with cooler air.

What about getting a smaller set for the same price? Say in the 130 to 150 HP range? For the same price?

It wasn't me to request that delete.. but I did catch it.

Shane. Phone call would of been nice.

That came out the wrong way, kinda, I suppose. But not really. If I was following me, I would asked why a new set is replacing and old. I'm all for complete and full information.

What ever the case, if I offended you, I' apologize. I'm not going to make a fight out of anything.

hey where did shane's post go??

I try my best to do right by all, sometimes the ones you try to help make it hard though. I pulled the post, at my disgretion. You can't win on the internet, so why bother.

We use to have nozzles done by JL Machining, I have not dealt with them in a very long time. The last set that was re-edm'ed from John Link was so far out of whack the hole sizes varied by 0.0025", Jason's were done by them. I have been working on having nozzles made to my specs right on the production line in Europe for a while now. We just got them in, and they were well worth the wait, same looks and quality of an OEM nozzle for not much more than stock replacement nozzle. I am sure since everyone has been use to the price being double for re-edm nozzles, since you have to buy the nozzle, then pay almost the same again to have them enlarged, they will be more than confused, thinking mine must be junk for $549.00. All I can say is they would be way off in thinking that. Jason I said "you could have these verified by Volker", because I know what the quality is, and yes for optimum quality the Injector should match the flow rate of the nozzle.

Being a Christian and applying it to business practices has been challenging. I feel like making a deal retraction with Jason after his less than flattering post, but I will stick to it. I will not make any size or year model substitutions though.

Well, Shane, the injector price is new to me. I did not go around and check all the prices on everyone sites and get quotes before I posted my prices since there was absolutely zero buzz around the forms that personally caught my eye, about how yours are done and the cost and why they cost the way the do. I suppose a thank you is in order for doing so and bringing the prices down a good % and i'm sure others will follow suit soon, both in price and process.

I appreciate you keeping your end of the deal Shane.

Well, I suppose since the tips are useless to me and there are cheaper ones to buy. I'll change the price of mine.. Stand by I'm waiting on some additional information.

Yeah we have been pretty good at being the door mat, that others wipe their feet on.

Burn!

So maybe mine are outa whack too? :D

Just joking, but seriously I think I may have popped one, two, or six...LOL ...with the addition of my dual pumps, will get with you soon about that Shane. Want to test them for peace of mind if nothing else.

So long story short....a person could not go wrong with shane's injectors! Mine had enough to lay down 963 without clearing so....draw your own inferences...
