New Cam Installed, now a Camshaft position sensor code?

Looking for insight on what to look for. I removed the sensor and saw no issues with it. Could my cam gear no be pressed on far enough? Have about 1/16 in. of the cam pushed through the gear. Had someone press the gear off the old cam and on the new one. This is on the 04.5 CR.


New Cam Installed.... typo from heck.

Is the Camshaft position sensor and Crankshaft position sensor the same. I have a Rokktech crank sensor I could install and swap the existing sensor to the Cam.
 
Called Ryan at Hamilton Cams and sure enough the cam gear was not all the way on. Issue is resolved.
