well im sure youve seen my threads on breakage in the last few weeks. i just dont have the cash to keep this truck a puller. i need something i can drive if i need to and not break everytime i get it out. here's how its built now.
Built trans
ATS internals.
Billet input shaft.
Heavy duty transfer case.
B&M slap shifter
pillar gauges
recall tac
150 gph fast fuel system
hybrid hx50 turbo w/ 2.6 bushing
911 pump off of a 1998 dodge
custom cut delivery valves
5000 gsk
other pump mods by Haisley Machine
hardened keepers and titanium keepers
60# valve springs
ported and polished
12mm head studs and fire rings
cam from Haisley Machine
5x18 injectors
now im thinking...... detuning the pump some and back the timing down. and probably change the full cuts and 5k's. then using this 3.0 turbo ive got sittin on the shelf in the shop and putting it under either and hx40 or 62/71 for a set of twins. that way i could drive it and tow with it and i wouldnt have the turbo lag of the big single. like i said ive got a 3.0 charger i got from work. it needs freshened up so im gonna call TDI tomorrow after work and see what they would charge to go through it. my problem will be fabbing the piping. i dont have anyway to bend the larger tubing. not looking to make 800hp or anything. just a good running driver i can tow with. so any suggestions would be awesome. and the cheaper the better.
