Well went to Indy this weekend and dynoed the truck again at TS Performance truck made 617hp & 1079 TQ with every thing that in my signature I also had a dual feed line on at TS thats not listed. Last week put on new 85% CP3 from Industrail Injection and a set of HD 110 lbs vavle springs. On Enterprise Engine performance dyno truck only did 501hp and did 1350TQ. What do you guys think about a Dyno Dynamics dyno or Dunbars dyno? I feel real bad that my numbers went down 116hp. Brett @ Industrail Injection said dyno wasnt being run right and that my truck should have went up close to 700hp. Plain on getting back on Dunbars dyno at Scheid in Aug to see what numbers are compared to what I got over the weekend.

yeah man iam betting the dyno wasnt right. weve seen it before the truck put down 530 then went to another dyno and did 645 all day long

I tune my truck on a Dyno Dynamic and I think they are as good as dyno as you can have. The one I tune on is called the heart breaker and it lives up to its name. My truck dyno's lower on it than a dyno jet by as much as a 100hp. My truck has been tuned very well (over 150 dyno runs) and I know some people hate to see the numbers go down but keep on the same dyno and do your mods and see what it improved as every dyno different no matter what.

That doesnt sound right at all. Are you hitting more boost on the street now? Whats your RP readings? We need to get you back on Dunbars dyno. Comparing one dynos numbers to another is comparing apples to oranges.

yea haloman i plan on getting back on Dunbars dyno in Aug, in hope to have truck tuned in and weight rack and a few others things finished up to try and hook to the sled. you know when sturgis is having there outdoor pull this summer?

I'm pretty sure there on sat. the 27th. The derby is on the 26th.

Thanks Butz if your not working might get you to haul me over there or be on stand by in case sumpin happens to truck. need to talk to ya bout Scheid in Aug if you guys are going might need a tow rig

I have the same complaint. I was also on EEP's dyno saturday and only ran a 529/1150 on it. Ryan I kow the dyno you test on and its the one I was at 681 on and only changed cam and went to the Race program Smarty. I was out down by a stock turbo truck. We loaded it different on my last run alot harder and lost hp. I was only able to make 40psi and egt's of 1200*. I was very unhappy with the results.

i have a few buds that have similar setups and the power your do on differnent dynos...your money is on the TS event

yea i talked to the guy with the stock charger he made sure that he told me several times his truck laid down more then mine. My buddy Luke who owns L&L Diesel sold him a Silver Bullet at the event to put on his truck in a week or so. I think there dyno was jacked up or they dont know how to light a turbo on a diesel truck. i will never dyno again if there at a event.

Yeah hear ya on that the same guy was parked a truck over and come over to ask what I had done and then found out and come by a few more times to tell me he couldn't believe that he beat me. I went and talked to the II guys about the 85% pump before dynoing to try there pump and it went from yeah I think we have one here and then found out I wanted to dyno my truck with myFloor-It to there pump back to back then they decided they didn't have one. At the end of the day CLint Cannon gave me a hell of a deal on a dual setup. I had the red '06 with train horns sitting by the dyno if you seen it.

That was me. You got screwed pretty hard on the dyno for sure.

Sorry if I rubbed you guys the wrong way, I was just very impressed that the stocker held up hitting close to 50#s. I meant in no way to offend either of you if I did. I

Me being only an hour away from the Indy, everyone kept asking why I wasn't dynoing my dyno queen Saturday. I told them that it wasn't an authorized dyno:hehe:. Shouldn't even waste your money running on any other dyno if you've already got a number from the official dyno, Dunbar's dyno:evil.

Can't compare dyno to dyno really, they can be off by 20% or more. The real horsepower number? Who knows, but dynojets seem to be pretty accepted.

I fixed it for you Jason

Yes I talked to you at IRP. The CP3 that was on display was one that we put in the trailer over a month ago when we loaded up for TS. I didn't know if that CP3 was stock or Stage 2 or ???. I did say it was possible that it was a 85% pump but I needed to find out. We have been selling a lot of the Dragon Fire CP3's so I was thinking it may not be because all of those pumps get sold right away. I was looking for Brett to ask him what he had loaded on the trailer. When I asked him you had already gone.
I have been saying it for a long time. Dynos do differ in out comes on hp numbers. There are many reasons that they differ.
We are right now installing a Dynojet dyno. It will be in the ground at our new shop. NADM has 2 SLC diesel events this year. Ron Knoch has asked if they can use our dyno for those two events. I told him yes we would be glad to hold those events. We will probably hold our official open house at our new shop at the same time. It should be fun! Everyone will be invited! Thanks, Brady

Can't wait, it will be nice to get together with everyone that makes it. We need more events out here.

Yes not sure about he numbers except I know it was a bit scewed. I did find 3 boost leaks today when actually looking for them. It seems that racing friday night I blew the two gaskets on the air horn and another small one on a boot. Still think it was more than that guess I will find out tomorrow night at Gateway Raceway.

Im sure if Brady knew it was a 85% pump you could have dyno it back to back. I cant say enough about the Industrail Injection crew they have awsome parts. I cant thank Brady and Brett enough for helping me make my truck what it is today. In Aug im going to put my truck back on Dunbars dyno to see the difference in my numbers, before winter build.
