Hi,

We've learned of two new extended warranty programs offered by Ford. I am waiting for actual specifics of what it covers to post but wanted to give everybody a headsup and learn what you think of it.

The first program:
$1900 - Can be purchased any time within the first 5 years. It covers 13 components including stock injectors, turbo, fuel pump etc. $0 deductible - 7 Years/200,000 Miles.

The second program:
$2400 - Can only be purchase within the first 3 years. It cover 21 components. $0 deductible - 7 Years/200,000 Miles.

You can only purchase them from a dealership. I know of a dealership that is being used as a pilot for the program so if anyone would like more information, please PM me.

Thanks,
Vivian

Not sure this would be worth it. I think if my warranty was up I would purchase after market and do the labor myself.

Interesting to say the least.

And speaking of warranty......

I think my rear main seal is going out. I have a Class 2 leak....oil on the backside of my oil pan and front of my tranny. Is this out of pocket or do gaskets fall under warranty?

I have a 05 with 88k miles.

That should be covered under your 100k engine coverage.

...and my truck goes in Monday for the 2nd time for a bedplate leak, covered under 5yr/100k warranty.

I paid right at $2100 with 93k on mine AS the truck was in for service:D

You got the 21 point with 93k miles on the clock? If you did,

Or did you pay $2100 for the 13 point? If you did

On my postcard from my Ford dealer announcement there is not a word on these plus $100. Must be a dealer make up to make $100 more.

Thanks
