new here from the Boston area, lurking for a while, looking for some info on Porting a head...and whatnot

got a POS 89 intercooled w250 d80, 5speed, SBC, all the normal fueling stuff with some other goodies

YES! Another VE'd truck!

How long is it staying a VE before putting on the Pee pump?
 
welcome, i was just in salem and the everett/boston area last week with the wife to tour the witch trials. beautiful area but the drivers suck and are a-holes.
 
thanks! I donno... the peeee pump is tempting and just sitting in the garage. Pops wants to use it on his 24v so we might be in a bit of a battle there. its a big pump too, 215 or bigger, came out of a bus

Salem is nice around these parts but that area is like a wasps nest, way too many people this time of year and yes the roads BLOW

i'd like to Push the VE a bit, but that requires time to tune and do r&d on a dual feed setup... plus i dont want to do all sorts of work then get a turbo selection wrong because the VE still wont spool big air

who knows! im gona build from the head out, and go from there

Interesting to see what the VE does!

(I could help ease your p-pump dilemma. I have a complete 24v conversion. 215 pump)
