I am thinking about doing an engine swap with my 2002 GMC Sierra 1500HD and I can't decide whether to go with a Cummins or Duramax. What do yall think? I'm kind of leanin towards a Duramax but I love the sound of a Cummins. Money aint a problem it will just take time for everything to happen.

Deffinately go with a Cummins. they will outlast a Dmax. Speaking from another northwest ohio person to another.

One of my buddies has a cummins at his place out of a first gen, im thinkin about buyin that up then tryin to find an allison 1000 trans for it
