I'm a new guy from Northern Utah. Right now I have a 2006 CCSB Chevy Duramax 2500 that i'm slowly modding to my liking.
My main purpose for coming to the site is the unique knowledge of diesels and custom setups that are displayed here. I just purchased a classic truck that i'm looking to restore/mod to my liking. It's a 1956 International S180 6x6. I'm looking to turn it into a classic tow rig with a duramax/allison and a flipped 271 t case (RockJeep73 has a great write up on how to flip a 271). It's a project that i'm looking to slowly work on over the next year as i'm disabled through the military and can only work on projects for a little bit at a time.
Any advise on custom duramax setups or conversions is greatly appreciated.
