Well let's start by sayin I just bought an 02 about 2 months ago.
I put my fass 95 on that I stole from my wrecked truck. I was havin a problem with the actin like it was runnin out of fuel so I thought it was sucking air cause it was leakin out of the housing a little . I just bought an airdog 150 and a new fuel level sender that's when I relized that there was a pump in the tank and that was stalling problem cause it can't suck threw the pump. Anyways the was running when I pulled the fass off today installed the airdog and fuel level sender I did unplug the pump in the tank but the only way I can get the pump to kick on is if I pull the relay and cross it with a wire so I got it down to no ignition but don't know how or why. Oh yeah I did put in the half inch suction tube also. Any help would be appreciated thanks and rack your brains lol

have you checked the voltage at your batteries? what happens when you bump the starter? does it run at all then?

No the fuel pump won't cycle at all even When he cranks it. It wil cycle when you bypass the relay with a jumper but the relay is good. We r going 2 keep workin on this tomorrow. Thanks for any help guys. His batteries suck and go dead fast but we had the sled truck hooked up 2 it with jumper cables.lol

you are probably bypassing the relay from constant power to pump. check the factory lift pump fuse and relay

Well I checked that and were pluged into the factory harness like the fass was I'm almost to the point of gettin a new relay setup and finding another ignition hot and see what that does

ok, yall were using the other set of batteries, and it worked, correct? throw in a set of good batteries and see if it will run at all.. i had the same issue with mine because of all the cranking i was doing, and the batteries went to crap, and they wouldnt hold enough juice to run the AD..

I'll try it but it worked with fine with the fass but I'll try it. Do you think by unpluging the pump in the tank That it would do this

Ok we put in the optima batteries and left them unhooked for about 20 minutes and the pump still won't turn on. The only way it turns on is when u bypass the relay(constant hot to pump). We checked factory fuel system relay and it was good where is the fuse for the factory lift pump? Any other ideas? Remember this truck has the in tank pump but it's unplugged so it won't cycle.

you need to connect the aftermarket pump to where ever was turning on the factory pump, is that set up right?

Everything is just like it was with the fass pluged into the harness near the starter goin threw a relay and fuse to battery that all runs down to the pump but I put a toggle switch on for now and I'm calling pure flow tomorrow and see if they know anything
thanks for the help
