New GT40 Results: 618.1 RWHP 1254 Torque

We went to PPE today to test the HP. I've been pushing for this for a while. What a great day for it. It was 68 Degrees inside the room, with a correction factor of 1, so this number is good. We did five runs, one without the duramaximizer in 5th gear, which yielded 568 RWHP, and one with it 3/4 up in 5th gear, which was 618. It was exacty 50 RWHP with and without the maximizer. We tried one run in 4th gear, but the tires spun a lot. We finally got our goal of 600 hp, and Dan and Joe were happy too. Dan should be posting a video tommorow. This is a great start, with a few more tweaks to do, which could put us past 625. A great day which started with having fun with all the guys there, and talking smack. It ended up in the night, on the first run, the exhaust wasn't routed right, and it smoked out the entire room after that, joe came in and told us to fix it because the paint was relatively new. I can't wait to do this again.

What would be the difference between the hp & tq if you had did the pull in 4th (1.00 gear) compared to overdrive.I'm not trying to start a arguement hear,just like to know what difference it would make??

We tried that, and it was totally spinning, but it still yielded 592 RWHP. Also, the dyno graph for that one was eractic, because of the spinning.

Any vid of it spinning? It is very rare to get a 600hp truck to spin on a decent set of rollers. Is it a load cell dyno?
