Hey all, I found this site from a mag link featuring the 1/2 ton truck with the diesel. I am about to start a build and I have questions not many people can answer so that's why I joined. I posted a bit about my build on another diesel site and was told by many I was crazy and it couldn't be done and I should do something else. Here's my plan: I have a 1939 Fargo 1/2 ton truck that I found in a farmer's field and purchased from the great grandson of the original owner - that makes me the second owner of a 72 year old truck. It has not run or moved since 1964, I plan to bring it into my shop in mid October and start building. The build I will post under a build thread. Anyway, here's a picture of what it is. The plan is to fit the truck with a 12v cummins and dial it up with twins to about 500hp. Please join me on my little project and wish me luck!
