I am new to the forum. I live in the Los Angeles area, but am a transplant from AZ.
I have a 2006 Dodge Crew Cab 2wd, with 200k, and a new Auto trans with a billet converter. The motor probably needs rings on number 6, so I am gonna rebuild the motor and see if I can add a few hundred horsepower to it in the process.
Since I am in CA, I have to keep the engine looking pretty stock. I am thinking head studs, and an aftermarket cam with a street grind, a bigger turbo (that looks close to stock) and some injectors. I am hoping that the inability to catch traction will help the trans to hold together.
