Last weekend we finally got around to working on my wife's truck (arcflashlynn). Race season is right around the corner and we cant wait!

Just thought I would share a few pics. Her truck is an early 04, the head is an 06, decked, 110# springs, new valve seats, port and polish, hamilton push rods. The cam is a hamilton 181/210

Nice. I run a similar set up with the 04 engine and 06 head with work.

Not trying to start anything, but on the cam, those look like some rather narrow lobes compared to what Hamilton has been pushing regarding the wide lobes on his cams. or is it a 24v regrind?

Just wondering what gives there.

One thing I noticed when I put in my 181/210 and ported head was that although the boost built at about the same rate relative to RPM's, it pulls harder with less pressure.

That is a very true statement. Boost, is just the measurement of restriction. Take restriction away, you get less "boost" (psi) but more "air". A big advantage to that is that your turbos work less hard staying closer to their sweet spot in terms of PR's.... all bonus.
