Hi, just recently registered for your site. Looks like a huge compilation of knowledge for all aspects of things diesel.
I have a 72 bronco with a 4BT in it, nv4500, D60 steering axles front and rear. It is a never ending project that I work on only periodically. Hopefully, someday, it will be finished.
I am now looking to repower my daily driver, a 97 Suburban. My son found a 96 12v Cummins, nv4500, 241DLD, d60 frt and d80 rear.....along with all the ancillary parts to do the swap, at not too bad a price. Just today scrounged a clutch pedal/bracket assy to swap to the manual, if I go ahead with this setup. I still need to do some research to determine if it is feasible.
Speaking of my son, he is in the middle of stuffing a 1st Gen Cummins into his 93 S10. It was a drag truck....what it'll be now we're not sure yet.
