Im going to start pulling next month and i got a 01 f-250 and i was wondering do i pull in 2 gear or overdrive while its in 4L?

Shift it by hand...start out in first and let her wind out then hit 2nd gear. Depends on how hot your truck is...some GOOD running trucks shift into 3rd! But no overdrive!!!

well see i dont have a third. i just have a 1st, 2nd, and drive.

Lockout overdrive that will force it to stay in 3rd...

Oh and what have you done to your truck? Most 7.3's I've seen that aren't too radical pull in 2nd 4L.

ive just got a turbo upgrade with a bd compressor wheel and bigger wastegate, intake, sct programmer thats about it. pretty stock
