Greg,

It doesn't appear to have any balancing holes...that I can see anyway. Are these meant to have the rotating assembly balance places purely on the crankshaft? If so, what do you plan on running for a balancer/harmonic damper on the crank snout?

Also, are those little "clamps" the only things retaining the ring gear?

Last, is that sucker aluminum? The anodizing look makes me think so, but that might be powdercoat. If it is, that would easily explain the 9 lbs. of weight lost without having balancing/lightening holes.

I'm not trying to knock you, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm just asking some questions.

Thanks for the input.

Later
Chris

FWIW, it looks exactly like my billet aluminum flexplate from Reactor.

I had these two made, to work with Chevy convertors , it is a Reactor Products , billet aluminum piece , and is very similar to the ones I had built for the Nitro Flash Truck 5 years ago. this one lasted over 250 passes

I am very happy , with Reactor and the balance is no problem, Curtis has that part under control.

The balancer is an ATI aluminum shell, it's a lot lighter then stock or any other out there. This reduction in rotating rate is important. I have always worked diligent on weight reduction, in all of my programs, both inside the engine , and on the race car .
