So I talked to destroke today and they said they have a new standalone computer coming out very soon, sounds interesting. Supposed to have more features than the bosch sport version at half the price. Anyone heard of it? I am very interested in one for a future project I have in mind.

WTF........ MORE INFO PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one complaint i see from the 3rd gen guys is they dont have the tinkering with the computer like the D-Max guys do. just my 2cents

The closest things you can get on the CR to a laptop as far as the off the shelf products are the TST R49 and the Smarty with the Revo/tnt/tntr programming, but all of the adjustments are in stages and levels. It would be nice to know exactly what we are adjusting and to what point it is being adjusted at each setting. Fine tuning would also be a plus too instead of just going by different adjustments on 3 different types of electronics to get the "in between" adjustments that we need.

Scott has been running 1 on his truck for a few months now. I have heard around 2-3k for a price but that was from a third party source so it may be wrong. Destroked's website has a small video clip of an engine on a stand running with the stand alone.

DESTROKED: Cummins Conversions

After talking to him about a few things it will do it will be interesting to see this all play out. I can say the common rail guys will have alot of control just like the Dmax guys, oh an 5 tunes on the fly will be cool too.

I will be buying one of these computers and a common rail for a conversion for sure now.

They are working to get it plug and play for the Dodge guys. So it will plug in and still run the dash gauges and other stuff that stock ecm's do. It will also do data logging with multiple input/channels, have full control over every table, the 5 positions to switch and some other cool stuff. Now he just needs to get it done....

Try adding up the cost of a Smarty, a TST and a MP-8. If the price is 3k or under it seems like a bargain to me.

Don't pull a comp461 untill it's obtainable

It's still vaperware until it's out.

In the mean time stop jerking every one around with this crap.

Oh its all in good fun.:rockwoot:

This just got me all excited so I wanted to get some input on it.

Its gonna be a bargain either way for the price I was told. WWWAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than the bosch stuff.
