new ticking noise

Just started this morning. Between 1400-2000 I hear a rapid ticking noise. It only does it in drive and doesn't matter if the engine is hot or cold. Cruising down the freeway I can't hear it. Any ideas?

On edit it has now gone away once the engine warmed up. Didn't do that this morning. Valve out of lash perhaps?

In that case ill shoot it. The tuck sounds like an exhaust leak but on the drivers side.

Sounds like the lash is a little loose on one of the valves.

What scares me is the lash hasn't been touched since I did them in December. If a valve has come that far out I'm worried.

Hopefully its something simple and not like a dropping seat. Dont the late model 24v's have problems with the seats?

Mine is an 01 so its hit and miss with them.
