I am new here, have heard about this forum for years, but never took the time to check it out. So far looks good. I have had a few decent running pickup trucks, but have never been down a track or hooked to a sled. I am a 1stGen Dodge fan, and dont forsee going any newer than a 93 for a few more years. I do my own mechanic work, and have done it all except tearing into an engine. Most of the time, stuff turns out the way I want it.
I am also a farrier, working on building a business- finished 6mo at Kentucky Horseshoeing School in March. I love the work, and pay isnt bad, either, especially when you consider it was a lot less time and money than getting a 4 year degree, without much guarantee of using that degree. In the meantime, I work at a tire wholesale warehouse to pay the bills til I get clientele built up, but dont expect to do that for very long (hoping <6mo).
