HI everyone. I'm a newbie
Ok, just picked up an engine out of a 97 auto. I plan on using it to build a sled puller. I was just wondering what the max fuel/HP you can get from one of these pumps, and how its done? Also what is the most this pump CC can flow and at what rpm? And what makes it different from the 215 pump. What i guess i'm really asking is what is the max i can get out of it by doing the mods to the pump myself? And is there a place where i could buy internals to build the pump bigger myself then just have it benched somewhere to save money on labor? Also what is the largest injector/lines you would reccomend runng with this pump.

Does that make it fuel more with less boost?

I have read about just gutting the AFC. I'm not so sure if i want to do that or not, but it will most likely be a trailered to the pull truck and not be street legal.

It is going to be atleast next year this time until the truck would be finished as i'm most likely going to put it in a non diesel chassis of some kind.

Might want to try posting in the right forum after you search.

you have to mod the vp44 so much to get the afc to move its barely worth it

I've had good results with pulling my injectors out and drilling them out a little bigger.

nope your all wrong, gotta get the special 14 hole nozzles, they flow so much on paper and make such an awesome spray pattern on a coffee filter that the diesel world will bow

How much bigger? I just cut the tips off the nozzles.

That works real well too, so long as you have a couple pumps to keep the rail pressure up.

As far as bigger, well the bigger the better i say. If you can look through the nozzle and see daylight on the otherside you're about there.

Neither really, just cummins and swap. Like im planning on doing with the cummins into a non cummins truck. Just made the name to get some reaction and be different.

I only cut them off so I could keep the spray pattern in the bowl. Who makes the 14 holes? Yuban?

Well i was just going to pull the injector and JB weld the injector line into the hole..
