new to diesel...trans temp question

when installing a trans temp gauge is there any welding involved, or drilling into the trans pan

several aftermarket pans have ports to install the probe into. You will have to drill and tap a stock pan.

Another option would be to use this .... Trans line for temp probe

We used the hot line on the trans for mine.
