Hello All,

I was planning on building an adventure van in my near future. I was going to do a 4x4 swapped E350 with a 7.3 with all the fun stuff but I ended up going a different route when my buddy decided to sell me his project!

I just recently picked up a 2001 Excursion with a 12V Swap :D

Here are the details:

2001 V10 Limited Excursion Donor Vehicle
190K on body

Motor.
.040 new reman cummins 12v motor. Oem cummins gaskets everywhere.
190 bus p-pump
5x.012 injectors
ARP 425 head studs
Adjustable pump gear
4,000 RPM governor springs
AFC has been ground to a "zero" plate and slide to the middle.
HE351 turbo from a 03-04.5 cummins common rail.
4" turbo back exhaust

Transmission
PCS2000 Controller (Need help tuning this thing)
Ford 4r100 HD with
Transgo trigger kit
John Deere hy-guard transmission fluid

So I picked this up a few weeks ago and it needed some love...

Full Front end rebuild with tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, adjustable track bar, pitman arm... the works.
New axle seals (didn't expect to do these)
2.5" hanger kit
OEM X springs from F350
Bilstein 5100's all the way around
Dual steering stabilizer kit

Bought but not installed
Modded B springs and F350 4" tapered blocks in the rear
Hellwig rear sway bar
Hawk sector 27 brake kit with LTS pads on all 4 corners
Russell SS braided lines

Future plans are:
- Winch capable front bumper
- Rear bumper with tire carrier
- Roof Rack
- Interior freshening
- Lights... lots of them
- Wheels and tires
- Possible Manual swap (NV4500)
- More POWAH!!! :)

My goals are to have a capable adventure vehicle that can handle overland travel, all but the meanest trails, highway crusing, and tow duty when asked of it!

Looking forward to driving this thing forever and ever! But I have AutoADD so we will see!

I will post pics as soon as I figure out how :)

All i can say about your project is make sure you have adequate cooling if you plan on taking it on trails and towing. Extra trans coolers would be a good idea.

Well its got one big one now but depending on which way I go with the trans I will look into more!

What would you suggest?
