I am going to be in the market for a new turbocharger soon. I am looking for opinions on which one to go with. I am targeting 550 HP. Current mods are Quadzilla adrenaline with pulse, Jammer stg 4 injectors, Suncoast trans and converter,Air dog 100, 4" straight pipe exhaust. I am considering changing the injectors to 200 HP Coaltrain. I am having the head "O" ringed this week. Any other mods suggested? Thanks for any info.:ft:

I put a 66/73/.90 t4 on a truck similar to urs but mannual and the boy loved it

A 62/71/14 and 100hp injectors would be fun to drive on the street, and would be just short of your hp goals. The same turbo with 150hp injectors would have very quick spool up, but at the drag strip your EGT's will be high. Plan on turning the box down to make it live. A 64/71/14 and your EGT's at the drag strip will be a little lower, but it won't be as fun on the street. 200hp injectors and you should just plan on twins.
With my truck and a drag comp I made 515hp with a 35/40 hybrid and Mach 4 (150hp) injectors. EGT's were way beyond hot. I made 545hp with a 64/65/12 and everything else the same. Added twins(62/14 over S400) and made 565hp everything else the same. Added Mach 6+ (220hp+) injectors and made 638hp.
My advice... Put a 62/71/14 on it, and when (not if), you decide to go with 200hp+ injectors, you will already have a great top turbo for a set of twins.

when you have the money to pay carl for twins sell the 64 here or trade it for a 57 or a 62
thing about the 64 is that you dont see them listed very often
i placed a wanted add here and had to wait over 2 months before one became avail
for some reason the others size's of s-300 are listed more often
maybe that says something for the 64 ?
