New turbo sugestions

I have a 1999 with 5 speed need suggestions for a new turbo. Truck has a non 53 block 150 horse injectors, an 85% vp44 and a edge comp. Truck is extremely smokey until topend. Need to clean it up but don't want it to be to laggy. Any help appreciated.

I would be tuning out some of the smoke with the sublevels of the Edge Comp. As you start tuning it you might gain back some of the snap. But over all a upgrade turbo might be a good idea.

Try a Super B made by BD, or a garrett ball bearing turbo.
