After 20 great years as Michigan Farm Stock Tractor Pullers Association (MFSTPA) we have decided to do a bit of changing to our name and image. We will now be Michigan Truck & Tractor Pullers. This new name describes the members of today's pulling organization better. While this change will take sometime to finish we have launched a new website refleckting this change. Our new website can be found at: MTTPull.com At this new site you can find our current rules and a schedule of our pulls and other pulls in the area that our members may participate in. As the pulling season starts up we will be adding results, pictures and, videos to our new site.

Good to see something with the diesels a little closer to me...I don't mind crossing the bridge one bit but it still doesn't look like I can fit in...even with the new truck we are building.

Honestly I don't see why a truck with an unlimited size of turbo or configuration and having water injection has to be licenced and insured. I am only going to be running a 2.8" and have the cab and box gutted and have a full solid rear suspension over a Dana80....doesn't look like I can pull with you guys...have to look at northern New York!

Thanks Chris but trust me I am not the website guy thats for sure. I will pass the kudos along to the guy that does all the work.

Ryan a bit of background on our diesel truck class. We started out with a new set of rules for this class 3 years ago based off DHRA's 2.8 class. Our insurance insisted on the air shut off for the class and the old time tractor guys said we should run water to help the motor live longer. After a summer of pulling and having guys tell us they would pull if we would let them have twins or bigger than 2.8 chargers we opened the class up to any turbo. We have yet have anyone show up with anything more than a 3" turbo. I guess talk is cheap.

As for you pulling with us I would welcome it. Do you find that there are many places you can pull with a solid suspension and gutted box that are still using only a 2.8 charge?

Up here we have our Pro-Mod class...max size of twins is 3" inducer on the large charger or any size of twins. We will be running a 3" or smaller here this year because I had to much power with the other truck and just kept blowing out the tires on our $hit tracks we have. We are now alowed solid suspension, non stock drive train but have to run DOT tires. There isn't one truck running larger than 1 ton drive train and most are running twins. Our class also alows for non road legal trucks to pull (5 our of the 7 we have up here in pro mod are trailer queens!)

Where abouts in Michigan are you pulling? There is one Michigan organization pulling up here with South Western Ontario Tractor Pullers and they are having trucks at one really good pull here at the end of June...
