I'm new to this site. I'm from southern Indiana. I join hoping to learn all I can so I can do some sled pulling mods to my truck. I'm not looking to break any records or pull every weekend, just want to do some simple mods for pulling. Just have a little fun that sort of stuff.
I have an 03 Dodge dually with a 6spd. It's a 4 door 4wd. It's stock for now anyway. I want to learn all I can before I start anything on it.
Right now I'm wanting to learn all I can about traction bars. Will short bars say 4 foot work as well at the longer bars. Is one better than the other? If I had a short bar and mounted it to the frame so as the angle is the same as a longer bar is that going to work well or should I just go with a long bar?
Any other information would be welcome.
