Hi everyone, I am new here and recently purchased a 93 regular cab dually 5 speed to play with but I know nothing about modifying these engines, the previous owner told me the turbo has been modified and the pump turned up, when I roadtested the truck it did feel strong,nothing like my stock 05 2500 but it did surprise me.
I have the bug and want more power, what kind of simple mods can I start with?

im sure many guys will chime in on this but it really depends on what has been done to the pump how much more you can modify it. theres a link on one of the threads on here to a description of how to tune a ve pump. i wish i knew how to link to it for ya but im still learning myself

Start with gauges, you can also put a fuel pin in or grind your own, put a bigger air filter in, 4" exhaust, a smaller exhaust housing, fuel system upgrade, bigger turbo, bigger injectors, here just a few items to get started.

Before you do anything toss some guages at it then I'd throw a governor spring in it( this may be a little intimidating at first but it aint to bad)then you can do some fuel adjustments
