Ok well had a misshap trans got slammed into reverse going about twenty miles an hour got out to neutral as quick as possible but it did start to grab reverse drove it with an empty trailer 85 miles highway no issues till loaded with hay and then tried reversing a little slip so I put it into 4 low and reversed fine but have not drove since got back with hay. Tow heavy always heavy north of 35k total im hoping it is ok. I just can't do another rebuild at this time money wise. It seems to be fine in drive and pulling the load what do I need to look for at this point should I adjust the forward band or leave it alone till about 3500 or so I think I put the ref hd band in when I rebuilt it. It's the third trans first two were from street smart they honor the warrentee but I am putting these in by myself ai did get a trans jack. But still a tuff job in the cold winter not yet in co. But is it ok if I am easy on it in reverse. I don't have to back up most of the time and can defanatly avoid it if I'm loaded. Thanks all.

I'd just park where you don't have to use reverse. How the **** did you accidently put it in reverse at 35mph?

My young pup had to bark out my window at a cow our cows and when she scrambled across my lap she shoved the selector into reverse 😕 luckily I was off the accelerator coasting but it still is kinda hard on things going the opposite direction, well actually if it was not just rebuilt it likely would not have responded as quickly to go into reverse it did skid the rear tires slightly. Of course having the trailer on only added resistance and uhg I could have thrown her out the window but she was being a dog. 😟 And she is only a pup yet 8mnth old heeler.

Something must not be adjust correctly with the gear selector. There is a positive stop from neutral to reverse when shifting.
Probably the longest thread title I've ever read. Dogs belong in the bed of a truck.

You belong in the bed of my truck with that **** attitude.

OP how the **** did a dog pull the shifter back and then push it up? This is a column shift right?

I’ve done this 2-3 times. Didn’t have a trailer but it didn’t hurt anything.

Dammit Nick. Your pissin' off the residents again. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

My headache turned into a migraine reading this. Glad the dog is ok. The transmission is replaceable :LOL:

Agreed. And agreed. ;)

Welcome to the forum, crippwarroor12, whatever that is. In all seriousness, that was hard to read. Punctuation is the difference in helping your uncle jack off his horse and helping your Uncle, Jack, off his horse.

@crippwarroor12

My apologies. I cut your truck info out of the thread title and meant to paste it back into the actual thread. I clicked something else before I pasted it and lost what I had cut out. Sorry about that.

What kind of cattle you runnin'?
