NHRDA World Finals/ September 25th 2010

yea cause i know one guy that is setting purdy good in the div 4. and aint going to make it.. he just raced cause we talked him in to it.. and placed 3rd. who will get his ticket if he dont show? just goes on down the list. tell you get 16 trucks confermed? or can he give his ticket or invite to some one else?

As per Randy Cole at the drivers meeting in Indy this weekend....They will invite the top 16 in each class. If someone in the top 16 cant make it, they will then invite the 17th person and so on. So basically the top 16 that can make it will be there. Its possible for someone to be a little ways down the list, especially in the ET class, and still get the invite since a lot of ET racers dont tend to travel as far to race.
 
The NHRDA staff has been preparing for the 1st ever true World Finals on September 25th 2010 in Topoka Kansas and we are proud to announce the following updates.

So far there have been over 290 competitors that have retained points to qualify for the World Finals. http://nhrda.com/Points.htm

The Top 16 competitors in each division from each catagory will recieve an invitation to come compete at the World Finals in September.

Also all 2009 Divisional and Regional Champions will automatically receive an Invitiation to the World Finals.

World Finals payouts
We are working on the final payouts for this event but at the current moment we have over $20,000.00 in cash and as more sponsors come on board this number will also increase.:rockwoot:

NHRDA contingency money as always will be available to all contestants with $8,750.00 up for grabs. :rockwoot:

Special cash prizes such as $1000.00 to anyone that can cut a perfert light in eliminations.

Plus for the Sportsman class there will be $1,000.00 reward for the perfect package during eliminations.

The NHRDA is proud to announce that it has partnered with both Diesel Power Magazine and Diesel World Magazine to help promote the upcoming World Finals in September. Each of these magazines will have 2 free tickets in there September issues that hit the newstands in August. That is over 500,000 tickets we are giving away to make this the biggest Diesel Drag race in the History of our sport.

We are going to make the trip in with the HDR/Armor inc racer see how we stack up against the other pro street trucks out there....looking forward to it!!!

so will there be time to get letters out to the people that is down on the list.. or load up and make the drive and chance it? topeka is close to me.. they have a race this month. will try again up there.
 
Is there anyway to buy tickets ahead of time? Pit access going to be included or extra?

Just booked. They only have rooms with king beds left, she said the hotel is almost full and mostly to diesel guys. Sweet. Should be a great event
 
We will probably get there early afternoon. Everyone want to try to meet up for dinner somewhere and a meet and greet?
