Can I get some pics of were you have your bottles mounted????????:thankyou2:

Mine is in the front right corner of the bed....sitting on a BedRug.
Nothing fancy...just nice and simple. I'm gonna switch to an Aerospace Components dual bottle billet mount after the motor swap with 2 15 lbs bottles in the front center of the bed.

How big is your pass through box Toby?
I'm guessing your bed is a bit diferent than ours now.

Pull the center section between the bucket seats, use the mentioned billet mounts.....
having your bottle in the front seat is the only way to travel.

Seriously, how often will this bottle be in use?

Just don't put the bottle inside without a blow down tube vented to atmosphere.
Nobody wants to hear the safety side of things...but people die that way.
There was a race in Dallas last year when a guy leaving had a bottle go off in his car. It didn't explode or anything...but it freaked out the driver enough that he bailed out of the car and the passenger died in the ensueing wreck.

He just jumped out of a moving vehicle?

At what temperature would the safety release valve open up and dump the nitrous bottle? That is what happens when the temperatures get too hot...right?

NX bottles have a 3000psi pressure disk in the vent. If it's over 3000psi, it should blow out to release pressure.

brandon.

Put mine in the toolbox, till I removed the toolbox.

Do they work mounted up on end like that?
I don't want mine in the box and I have a
reg cab too. So not a lot of room for things.
