My buddy just installed a box and the next day began welding up his ujoint shields and forgot to undo his betteries 1st. He says that his fuel pump began running while he was welding then the computer began to display codes while the key was still out.
He put the key in started it up and drove the truck, it drove fine but the box wasn't adding any powerit fekt srock. Then after disconnecting the batteries and box the truck won't start. The dash gauges won't work and the lift pump wont even come on. Its like he fried the computer, any ideas on what else to try besides a new computer.
