No gauges ac or charging

I picked up a 98 12v auto that has a manual swapped in and I don't have gauges ac or charging. Truck runs I've replaced the crank speed sensor checked all the fuses cleaned all the pins contacts and grounds I can find. When I hook it up to a scan tool it just reads error so it's not reading the computer.
What do you think bad pcm?
Previous owner did all the work on the truck before he passed away and I bought it from his wife. So no real idea if these issues are all caused by the same thing.
Wiring all looks pretty stick with only a few minor splices here and there.

I would be pcm. Better question is what caused it to cook. Mine was a power to ground through the ac compressor. Took a while to find. Took big plug off the pdc and checked continuity throigh each circuit til i found it. Along with a lot of money spent on unecessary parts and a pcm rebuild. Good luck
