No nuetral or reverse

The other day I lost reverse and neutral in my. 92 d350 with an automatic As far as I know the trannys the stock a518 does anybody know what I should figure on for parts? I've built more than a few man. Trans. As a tech for Kenworth of Rochester but never had my hands in an auto and thought it may be an interesting experiment to build one
 
I'd get rebuild kit, and front and rear bands at the least, then you'll have to wait and see how bad it is...are you wanting stock rebuild or a built one?? whats the plans for it?
 
What do you mean you lost neutral? Does it always try and go forward? If so the forward clutches are welded together.
 
That's kinda what I figured that the clutches were welded together. It should be gone thru and bilt right. But at the moment it just needs to have all it's gears. I built the engine in college and she's a little to hot for the dodge automatic
 
Finally gotta round to tearin it apart and it didn't have a clutch left in it. Works great after a 240$ kit from napa
