Not too shabby for a little 6.0 with a mild tune. First run was a 697 at 1300+ but unfortunately it was a spike, so I asked it be deleted. Then on the second run it did the "I didn't like what you just did to me so I am going to shut your fuel off" thing that some of the 6.0's do. After a reset, we ran a fuel only Innovative file that Eric had written for me just after I put the turbo and injectors in. The last run was with a shot of Nitrous to about the 85 mark when my damned fuses blew AGAIN on the NOS system. Not sure why it works till I get to an event, but I am fairly pleased with the numbers none the less.

That would have been nice to see what it would have done with the NOS working properly. I thinks you need to rewire it all and take care of the electrical issues you got. Great runs non-the less:Cheer:

Tim, it's a little hard to see the numbers, but is the highest run 581? What should it be? Or is this about right with your set up. I know you said you're going to retire it and that you'd been having some problems. Just wondered what it should be.

Yeah 581 and 999 TQ. I expected to be well into the 600's on Nitrous, but I am more than pleased with the numbers.

I think this Ground wire going to the nitrous solenoid being cut in half has something to do with it. LOL It sure purged nice though!

What are you using fuses on in the NOS system?

I have heard quite a few quys make make comments about running fuses on NOS systems, and also running the ground through the micro switch. the last thing that I want is my daily driver or my race truck to burn to the ground because I didnt put in a 15 cent fuse. If the fuse blows at the track during a race or on the dyno then there was a problem and it did its job, instead of melting wires together and starting a fire. And running the ground through a switch is asking for trouble.... if a wire gets cut, rubbed through, etc... it dosent blow a fuse, it acts as if the switch has been thrown and will turn on what ever you have it hooked to. I know someone that had the wire burn against a header and his nitrous purge was activated. He lucked out that it was only his purge. Something to think about when you wire your next system.
Now back to the original post.... :Cheer:
