No Tach/Random Stalling

so i searched around and still havnt found what im lookin for. i been workin on my buddys 99 24v tryin to figure out why the tach doesnt work. the cam sensor was changed and the crank sensor. the crank sensor has its 5v reference and a good ground but the sensor either is not making a signal or there is no signal coming from the ecm. i cant figure it out, i was thinking it could be tone ring or maybe bad wiring. also the truck has started randomly stalling while driving. i am starting to think it could be apps related. any info would be much appreciated

my 2000 did the same thing and it was the crank position sensor. it had a bunch of **** on the lens

yeah im thinkin theres somethin goin on there

engine speed is multiplexed from cummins to dodge over a J1939. my guess is its dodge's computer.

I'm guessing crank sensor.
