noticed a slight noise coming from my trans area on my '07 5.9. Kinda a rattling or surging noise. Narrowed it down to the line that goes into the front of the trans. It has about a 5" rubber section in it. Sounds like there is a valve or somethin in it that is fluttering or surging. Not sure if it does it above idle cuz my truck is so loud. But the line vibrates alot...anybody ever hear of this? I was told that it was common on these trucks when the line pressure is above the factory level. And that I had the infamous pressure regulator valve buzz....but I havent found any info on it. Was also told that it wouldnt hurt anything as it is just noise. Is this true? Truck seems to run and shift fine...i just didnt know if I needed to do anything about it. Thanks in advance for the help.
