NOS solenoids?

Here is long story shortly:

Years ago (approx 8 years :bang) I brought NOS 05001 kit for my V8 Astro Van and this kit was for carfburator application.

Because I do not have this Van anymore and the kit is still on the box ,I have idea to use it in my '98 12V



I think for my truck application looks like I can use only bottle and solenoid(or solenoids)


Nos solenoid: 16020 super powershot

Fuel (gasoline) solenoid : 16080 fuel powershot.


Here is few questions:

1. Can I use fuel solenoid as second stage nitro solenoid? Visually those two solenoids looks like identical
2. What size of nozzle jets should I start with?


We have race in 19 of July and I need to prepare my truck :evil.................

I am not sure on the fuel sol for nitrous, it may not be able to handle the high pressure of the nx. Just give it a try and see if it leaks, and opens/closes. What do you have done to your truck? I would start with a 5x jet and move up from there, just watch your drive pressure if you dont have an external gate.

you can not use the fuel solenoid or the fogger nozzle

i wouldnt anyways
