need some help are the 241 transfer cases the same for the 47re or
nv4500&5600 just wondering building my first automatic project
and I wasn't sure

Thanks for the heads up I knew about the DLD DHD cases but like I said
I'm a stick guy this is my first auto project just doing a little research.
I think you saved me a big headach.:doh:What about the Ford 271
what would I need to look for to put behind my 47RE.

There are two 241 dhd's. One has a two piece tail housing 29spline and the other has a one piece tail housing and its 31 spline.
