nv 4500 clutch question

I bought parts truck few months ago for tranny and pump. I swapped my auto out for the 5 speed. The truck was a 94. Question i have is...is the back plate that the tranny bolts to different between my 98 and the 94 back plate? Wondering if ones different then other if clutch will engage/disengage correctly

back plate meaning the housing thats bolted to the block... between the block and the bell housing?
