NV4500 2wd/4wd conversion

Has anyone ever converted a NV4500 2wd tranny into a 4wd? I have a 2wd NV and want to use it for my conversion.

Will need a different main shaft, tail shaft, and tail housing.

Better off to sell it unless you got it for free.

like he said you will need the new main shaft and a different tail shaft housing. also depending on the shape its in you might as well rebuild it while you have it out and put in the upgrades and your pretty much going to be looking at the cost of a new or reman 4x4 one.
