Just put a new tranny in my truck about 2000 miles ago. I got it from Blumenthals, rebuilt with the 1 3/8" shaft and put the 3250 sprung hub from SBC in it.
But anyways, I was getting onto the tollway yesterday when some guy in a z28 tried to cut in and pass me on the shoulder, I let him have it.
Now the trans. when shifting from 3rd to 4th has a what I would call a stick to it. It takes a good pull to shift from 3rd to 4th.
Now, this only seems to happen every once and a while. It seems to happen more when the truck is fully warmed up.
I drove her today a good 150 miles to and from work, and it seems to only do this Id say once out of every 3 shifts.
Anyone have any ideas?:thankyou2:
Sometimes I wish I bought an auto.

My only guess w/o taking it apart is it has the carbon fiber synchros and they are comming apart. The supplier has had some glue problems with them lately.
as I said, a guess.

I could have sworn when I looked at the inside, they were brass.
I am almost positive they even told me they were brass.
Im going to give them a call on Mon.
