a friend of mine is wanting to sell his spare 5spd. he bought this about a year ago for his 5spd swap in his 97 12 valve. he had taken the tranny apart and replaced all the gears and shafts. after that, about 2 weeks later, while driving, he lost 5th gear. he got mad, pulled this tranny, and threw in another one he had bought off a friend. when he pulled the tail housing off this one, fearing the worst, all that was wrong with it was the C-clips on the countershaft had broke! so he replaced them, and threw it back together. i dont know exactly how many miles are on this transmission. asking $1200 plus shipping.. ill try to answer any questions you have. or if it would be easier for you, here is his number so you can contact him directly with any questions: 210/896-79threethree
