Nv4500 swap questions

I have a 93 cummins with an auto my overdrive is gone I've tried making my own pot kit didn't work I've tried a toggle switch didn't work so I've just decided I'd rather swap to a 5 speed so I would like to kno wat it all takes to do this swap an everything tht goes along with it

you need the adapter plate on the back of the engine the second gen starter the pedals the hydraulic master cyl and slave cylinder flywheel and clutch. I am not sure about the drive shaft. Seems to me it would be easier and cheaper to fix od what are your plans for the truck?

I got the overdrive fixed but my plans for it is to do alot of sled pulling an ocasional street time I wanna be able to control wat gear I'm in an seems like I would like it better everybody tells me not to waste my time on a getrag an just go nv 4500 So idk I figure I'm gonna go 4500 so I'll be ahead in the long run
